This aircraft was on a cargo mission from Chabua to Ondal, India. The plane crashed killing all of the crew. Dead: 4.

  • In this photo, a sheet metal toolbox is shown under the photo of Cpl. Stavinoha.  Arnold made the toolbox when he was home on leave shortly before being killed in the crash of C-46 #41-24717 in NE India in March 1944. Viola (in red jacket) is holding Arnold's ID bracelet in her left hand.
